What questions do guests ask before booking the street art tour in Malasaña?

Is Malasaña Madrid safe?
Yes, it is. However, as we always recommend to our visitors, leave your passport at the hotel, and don’t do things you wouldn’t do back at home
What does Malasaña mean?
The name “Malasaña” began to be used in the 1960s in homage to the young seamstress Manuela Malasaña, who died during the repression that followed the uprising of May 2, 1808, after being accused of carrying a weapon — a pair of sewing scissors — when she was detained. Her body was buried in the former Hospital de la Buena Dicha, on Calle de Silva. From the 1980s onwards, both in popular speech and in Madrid’s collective imagination, the Barrio de Maravillas came to be known as the Malasaña neighborhood.
What kind of neighborhood Malasaña?
We would describe it as a bohemian, and chic district, with a growing international (expat) community, mixed with local residents. It’s very lively, specially during the weekends.
