Have you ever travelled to/within Spain’s territory? We are proud enough to say that we are local experts, working as guides to one of the most beautiful cities in the whole country: MADRID! We will show you the Spanish capital in a completely alternative way with our urban art tours. It has been thanks to our career as street art entrepreneurs that we launched a new graffiti experience in town, a wine and canvas in Madrid city. Something that you probably never heard of but which is really popular among US citizens, specially women.
What is a Wine and Canvas in Madrid experience?
This project consists of a painting experience in which you and your friends, helped by a local artist, will develop an artwork on a canvas. At the same time, you will be drinking a glass of famous Spanish wines, Rioja or Ribera. Do you prefer tinto or white? The wine and canvas in Madrid is now available thanks to the collaboration that we established with a local workshop called El Keller. Guillermo J Bueno and Gerbos are some of the emergent artists who will lead this unique opportunity. Check their work on Instagram!
What does the wine and canvas in Madrid include?
The price for the activity we are now offering includes all materials, the wage of the artist, the wine and the rental fee for the locations where this workshop is developed. The tools you will use to create your artwork are as follows:
- Spray paint: isn’t it cool that you will use this material instead of a brush? Will it easier or more difficult, what do you think?
- Stencils: we will give you a pre-designed image that you will trace with a box cutter in order to create your layer. This is something we also use on our stencil workshop in Madrid.
- Canvas: as part of the experience, you will be able to paint on a surface that you can take home with you once the activity is finished.
How long does the wine and canvas in Madrid take?
This painting experience takes from one hour and a half to two hours to complete the experience. If you also purchase our guided visit in Madrid, it will take up to four hours to finish the whole experience. The activity may take place at different locations depending on the group’s size. The majority of the times we work with local artists and the service is offered at their studios. One of our favourite places for the development of this wine and canvas in Madrid is El Keller. This workshop is located at La Tabacalera de Lavapiés, a former tobacco factory from the XIX century. Do you fancy this idea? We are waiting for you!
